The Central Coast of N.S.W. is “LIFESTYLE”
We are only new to the Central Coast…
… but watch this site grow!
If you are looking to buy, rent or invest in the real estate market on the NSW Central Coast, you can find it here or as a link through one of the many Central Coast Real Estate Agents. There are over 150 Agents to choose from – most have WEB sites. We are sure you'll find our site helpful and informative in your quest.
The Central Coast has fast, efficient access (approx’ 1 hour) provided by rail and freeway to Sydney in the south, and Newcastle to the North. It is also connected to the northern suburbs of Sydney via a commuter style 83 seat ferry service approximately 8 times daily between Palm Beach and Ettalong. A Jetcat ferry tourist/commuter service from Ettalong to the Sydney CBD (approx’ 40 min’ trip) has been proposed for the near future.
The Central Coast offers you a chance to relax, or explore the vast waterways of Brisbane Water, Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake and Lake Macquarie (Australia’s largest salt water lake) in the north. Bouddi and Wyrrabalong national parks, the Ourimbah, Olney and Watagan state forests and Somersby Falls offer fantastic bush walking experiences with spectacular scenery.
Famous Tourist attractions include “Old Sydney Town” and “The Australian Reptile Park” along with the numerous beautiful sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean coastline, which are ideal for surfing, swimming, diving, fishing, boating etc.
There are numerous beautiful and challenging golf clubs, along with every football code represented, bowls clubs, tennis clubs, fishing clubs and any other sporting code you can imagine…. too many to list here.
Gosford is the largest town in the region and hosts a variety of aquatic events such as sailing, water-skiing and jet boats.
Terrigal is a popular beach-side resort which offers good surfing beaches, boutique style accommodation, shops and fine restaurants.
The Entrance further north, is equally famous for its beautiful beaches and relaxing family holidays, and now each Feb/March hosts the Central Coast Country & Western Music Festival.
Woy Woy at the southern end of the region, is bordered by the Hawkesbury River, Broken Bay and Brisbane Water and is famed for its oysters. The surrounding area is notable for its picturesque scenery, spectacular lookouts and Aboriginal engraving sites as well as the ocean beaches of Umina, Ettalong and Pearl Beach.
Toukley is sited on a narrow neck of land, which divides Tuggerah and Budgewoi lakes. Relaxing parks stretch along much of the foreshore of both lakes.
Further inland, the Yarramalong and Dooralong Valleys and Mangrove Mountain/Kulnura areas provide a relaxing excursion into the hinterland and rural farmlands.
